Argentina - Tilcara Devil's Throat

After a couple of days of road trips we decided to take a local hike to the 'Garganta del Diablo' (Devils Throat) in Tilcara. More great sites of millions of years old sedimentation, when the area would have been under the sea.

The Garganta del Diablo is run by a small number of locals that maintain a walkway/stairs. The 'throat' is the result of tectonic movements creating a deep incision in the rock. It was quite tricky to capture.

At the 'tonsils' of the throat there was a waterfall which was very refreshing.
