We were very excited to be heading to Buenos Aires and meeting up with Liz and Matthew. We had managed to book the same weekend as 20 world leaders were having a few meetings, so there were lots of police and closed roads; the place was probably unusually quiet.

We all loved Buenos Aries, the big parks and plazas and tried to visit all the best ones, plus a flamboyant cemetery and bookshop in a theatre.

Once the world leaders had gone we headed to Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo market for Tango and ended up in Boca for more Tango and of course the local rowing club!

A must do for Argentina is the polo. We were lucky to see the semi final of the tournament being held at our local club in Palermo.
